Caching

This guide focuses on the configuration needed to ensure files produced by webpack compilation can remain cached unless their contents has changed.

Output Filenames

output.filename의 기능을 이용하여 변경된 파일만 브라우저가 가져오도록 하는 방식이다. [hash]는 filename 내부의 build-specific hash를 포함하기 위해 사용된다. 그러나 [contenthash] 사용하는게 더 낫다. 이것은 각 asset마다 다른 file의 content에 대한 해시를 사용하기 때문이다.
